Hey yall! i’m so pumped to be finallyyyy officially part of this trip!  So a little about myself: i’m 19 and have lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana my whole life. Crawfish, Mardi Gras, and just good southern culture are some of the awesome perks of living in Baton Rouge.  I’m a HUGE LSU fan(GEAUX TIGERS) so yall will prob see me wearing LSU stuff basically every other day during the trip.  I now live in Ruston, La where im majoring in Business Marketing at Louisiana Tech Univeristy.  I have danced since the 6th grade, and was on the Regal Blues, Tech’s danceline, my freshman year where i made some of my best friends here. My dance strengths are technique(leaps and flexiablitiy and such) and hiphop dances. I cant hear a good dance song without bobbing my head and wanting to break out in dance lol.  I wish i still had the time to dance in college!!

My family is basically my everything.  My dad is actually serving as an attorney for the army in Iraq right now, so I cant wait for him to come home this thanksgiving!  I have two little sisters, Rachel who is 15, and Madeline who is 12.  They are goobers, but i love them and wouldnt trade them for the world.  And then theres my mom, who is a wonderful stay at home Godly woman who has helped mold me to be the woman I am today.  I’m really close to both of my parents and i know how fortunate I am to have parents who are christians that genuinely care so much about me.

I’m pretty random.  I also tend to make friends anywhere i go, just because i will stir up a conversation with a total stranger.  I am OBSESSED with peacocks and penguins.  I dont know what it is about them, but they make me smile.  Naps are the absolute best.  i prob sleep more than i am awake… lol.

On a God note, this year in school my relationship with Christ has grown more than it ever has.  I’m pretty sure that’s due to God making himself evident in all of my circumstances.  My quiet times have been deeper and more personal, more than just a 5 minute devotional and a quick prayer.  Ever since being introduced to this opportunity, being accepted, and getting ready to leave, India has been on my mind…. constantly.  The week after i was officially dedicated to this trip, India was EVERYWHERE, whether me hearing about the country on the radio, or on a Seinfield episode(no kidding!).  I’m so anxious to see how God is going to use us to minister to the people.  I have never done anything this extreme in missions, so I cant wait to see whats in store.  I expect that God will do God sized things. As usual.

im so excited to meet you all!!  only a couple of weeks!!
